The room and bath were clean. The outside was in great need of repair I.E. concrete deterioration, door jam moldings broken, missing and hanging and the stairway wells smelled.
This is a trucker's motel and diesels ran to keep the refrigeration units cold. The noise was loud and constant. The front desk was nice enough to move me, at 10 pm, farther away from the trucks, but I never would have booked there to begin with had I known about the trucks.

The location.
The staff made me nervous, because the men seemed to come & go and far outnumbered the women. The room looked ancient, the bedding had stains on the blankets and the refrigerator was loud.

The people in the lobby were nice
The air conditioner leaked all over the carpet, the room and hallway smelled like urine. The shower was dirty and the flickering florescent light made everything look creepy.

Good location next to hiway.
Everything. What a dive, worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It needs to be torn down and and a Hotel 8 put in its place.

The air conditioner worked great for as hot as it was outside 100+.
The bathroom was very old & dirty. The towels were gray & dingsy. When you set out of the shower, the floor became muddy with the dirt off the floor. The carpets needed vaccuming as well. This is a very old motel, but with some cleaning & painting it could be a decent place to stay.

The location was the best thing I liked.
The tub was clogged and the water barely drained. The carpet in the bathroom area was ripped. It was a non-smoking room but there were cigarrette burns in the quilt.

Room was clean. Good location.
Ele outlets not working. Microwave in need of repair. Sticking door. Room price jacked up $20.00 from the internet price.

It was really cheap and the elderly Indian man and his wife (who ran the place) were darling.
It's a bit old and smells like cigarettes. But it's cheap when you need to spend one night before driving up to Chicago.

The Price and friendly, helpful staff.
Carpet edges were filthy. Two lights didn't work. Appeared dingy. Not well maintained---basic at best. Advertised breakfast was a joke.

I liked the woman at the counter. She was very friendly. I also liked the price.
The rooms are not kept-up. Paint was chipping off the walls, carpet looked stained, and the room just felt too low-end. We had stayed at a different America's Best Value earlier in our trip and it was much cleaner and not so ugly looking.

this hotel was in horrible condition. the bedding was in terrible condition with holes and burns. it was so old and worn that it was hardly useable. it was not very clean and was probably the worst place we have ever stayed in. we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay while on business and it was cheap but it was terrible. would never stay in this chain again.

The toilet ran all night The room was cold, even with heat on The walls were filthy The heat lamp did not get warm The blow dryer did not work There was a gap between the window and the heat/Ac unit. Had to stuff a towel in there to stop the breeze from coming in Was a smoking room, asked for an ashtray, did not have any was told to use the plastic cups in the room My reservation confirmation said there was a small refrigerater & a microwave in the room...There was not!!
